Aobosi Slow Juicer Review – Easy To Use, Easy To Clean

If you found your way here, it’s safe to say you’re in the market for a new juicer. The Aobosi slow juicer is a vertical masticating juicer that won’t take a massive bite from your bank account as some models will. The motor is advertised as being very quiet, but found it to be comparable with competing models. One small plus is that the electricity it uses is the equivalent of two lightbulbs. So if you want something that sips power, this model is a good one for you.

Pros:
  • Double Deep Filtration System
  • No Messy Filter
  • Overheat Protection
  • Quiet Motor
  • Low Power Consumption
  • Fewer Parts for Easy Assembly/Disassembly
Cons:
  • Clogged easily with tough or fibrous foods
  • Louder than stated
  • Pulpy fruit remnants are moist
  • Hollow area under the auger is hard to clean

Most of the easy-to-remove parts on the Aobosi can be cleaned quickly and with little effort. The auger, itself, has a hollow area that can be difficult to clean, however.

The This masticating juicer has an 80mm wide feed chute and offers the user dual-channel juicing, all at the click of one button. When you put hard fruits like apples into this juicer, the double deep filtration offers a higher juice yield.

On top of all that, there are no screens, which makes helps with cleaning. Let’s take a closer look at what it has to offer you.

Aobosi Slow Juicer Features

The Aobosi comes with some unique qualities that I appreciate when I’m juicing. In this section, I’ll cover them one by one.

Double Deep Filtration

Depth filtration is essential when it comes to juicing. The idea is to get as much juice as you can from the produce you grind. The Aobosi offers a double deep filtration, which removes all the solid particles and leaves nothing behind but amazing flavor.

Wide Chute

At 3.15 inches, the chute is wide enough to ingest an entire small apple, tangerine, and other similarly-sized produce. The flip top design is now popular among many juicer brands and Aobosi seems to be on board with their vertical slow juicer design.

Dual Channel

Once the product goes through the double deep filtration system, it moves through a dual channel so all your solid pulp ends up on one side while you have nothing but juice on the other. I am not a fan of wasting and want the machine to do it for me. The Aobosi does just that.

Max Juice Yield

When fruits and vegetables are sent through the double deep filtration process, the separation yields the most juice those products have to offer. Aren’t you tired of looking at the solid waste when juicing and seeing some delicious juice at the bottom? I say, “Keep your juice!” I’ve found the Aobosi juicer does just that.

Fewer Parts for Easy Assembly

Living healthy isn’t easy. Making juice once a day takes a great deal of time out of your day. If you’re a juice lover like me, you may do it twice or more, especially if everyone in your home gets wind of those amazing juices you’ve been making. I can throw the Aobosi together quickly and take it apart just as fast, which leads to our next feature.

No Juice Screen for Easy Clean Up

Not only is the Aobosi slow juicer easy to pull apart, which makes it easier to clean. There are no messy screens to deal with. Pull it apart, run it under hot water, and wash it out. After the first use, I was sold that the screenless method was the way to go.

Overheat Protection

This feature comes in handy if you enjoy juicing and use it regularly. It won’t overheat and burn out the electrical cord or unit. Also, if you are a tad absent-minded like me, this feature is particularly useful. I’ve stepped away to do something else and completely forgot my juicer was on.

Low Wattage

One use of this juicer uses as little energy as two lightbulbs. This isn’t much, so it won’t matter if your family is juicing all day long. Keeping down your electric bills is important when you’re on a budget. This is something we can all relate to.

BPA Free

BPA stands for Bisphenol-A, which has been linked to a number of health problems, including ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Juicing relaxes me, so I don’t need anxiety-inducing chemicals in my carrot/beet/ginger combo.

For me, this feature takes a load off my mind, especially knowing my children won’t be ingesting these harmful chemicals.

Surprisingly, not all juicers are free of BPA plastic. Most are, including this Aobosi Vertical Slow Juice.

What can I juice with the Aobosi Slow Juicer?

I create juice from all the fruits and veggies I want with my Aobosi. Below I’ve listed some of my favorite items to juice. While not an all-inclusive list of the Aobosi’s capabilities, they are great examples of the types of produce the Aobosi can handle.

Carrots

carrot

Carrot juice tastes a lot like chocolate milk. I will be forever grateful to whoever first decided to take this dense vegetable and grind it down to liquid form.

I love carrot juice. But more than that, I love making it in this juicer. The deep filtration system helps me get the most out of every solid carrot I put in there.

Beets

Beets are another great way to add some healthy vitamins to your life with a juicer. When combined with carrot juice and some other items on this list, you can create the drink of a lifetime.

Beets

I love grinding beets in my Aobosi as well. It doesn’t get stuck, and all that’s left on the other side is solid materials. The juice winds up in my glass.

Leafy Greens

Spinach, kale, mustard, and other leafy greens are a staple in the juicer diet. They provide a punch of health in a tasty drink you can take on the go.

Leafy greens are notoriously difficult to juice. But the greens that go into my Aobosi are juiced as well as many higher priced juicers.

Ginger

Ginger is fantastic in juices, especially when paired with carrots and spinach. You don’t even have to peel the ginger before you put it in because the Aobosi will get rid of it for you. All that’s left is the delicious ginger flavor. Plus, ginger has amazing health benefits, like promoting lower cholesterol and relief from nausea.

Apples

Apples are medium-firm fruit, so many juicers handle them fairly easily. The Aobosi Vertical Masticaing Juicer isn’t an exception when it comes to rendering fairy dry pulp. I’ve found that this juicer handles apples fairly easily.

A little hint, add some ginger to your apple juice, and your taste buds will thank you.

Watermelon

Even though this fruit is easy to mash, it can get messy. But, it’s I have no issues with it when I throw watermelon into my Aobosi juicer. I love the sweetness watermelon adds to spinach and carrots.

Tip: Use seedless or remove the seeds before putting them into the machine.

Citrus Fruits

If you’re like me and love having fresh lemon juice for cooking, then this juicer is just what you need. It takes me no time at all to grind up some lemons, rind and all, and walk away with a good portion of fresh juice.

One thing to note with citrus and other pulp-rich fruit is that the juicer doesn’t render all the juice from the pulp. So pulp-rich produce is likely to be more moist than with competing brands.

Oat Milk

Dairy milk isn’t for everyone. Oat milk is a tasty alternative that you can easily make with this juicer. I do it often and have never been disappointed.

To make oat milk in the Aobosi slow juicer, combine oats and water in a 1:1 ratio and soak for 6 – 8 hours, then run through the juicer. Viola! Oat Milk!

Is the Aobosi Vertical Slow Juicer Easy to Use?

The Aobosi is simple to use. You must click a few pieces together, get your ingredients ready, and start juicing. I will give you this piece of advice, if you have the time, peel your apples, citrus fruits, and ginger so you have less of a chance to clog up the hole where the pulp evacuates.

I think it’s worth adding that this machine can be used by most people in your home. I would keep it away from small children. In my home, I treat my juicer like a blender. I give access to those who understand the dangers of sharp blades.

Is the Aobosi Slow Juicer Easy to Clean?

Other than the hollow area below the auger, it is very easy to clean. I have had no problem ridding my juicer of excess pulp except for the hollow section. But the opening where the pulp comes out is smaller than the mouth. I recommend being present while the juicer is on and keeping your eye on it. Once it’s done, clean it right away so that the pulp inside doesn’t harden and make it harder to unclog.

How Good Is the Juice Quality?

The quality of juice I’ve received from my Aobosi Slow Juicer is indistinguishable from those of many higher-priced juicers. But the juice quality won’t stack up well to those super-premium juicers like the PURE Hydraulic Juicer. The Aobosi’s “deep filtration method” seems to do well at rendering as much juice from the pulp as possible.

And I hate to waste anything, so that’s why I love this juicer.

Is the Aobosi Juicer worth the investment?

Committing yourself to a life of juicing is one of the best decisions you’ll ever make. Juicing is a fantastic way to get the daily dose of the vitamins and minerals your body needs, with the added benefit of boosting your immunity. Also, juicing ignites your body’s ability to remove toxins.

There is nothing but good when it comes to making your own juice, and this appliance can help you get there. When you purchase a product like the Aobosi Slow Juicer, you’re investing in your health and longevity. I highly recommend using the Aobosi Slow Juicer on your journey to a more healthy lifestyle.
